Located at 5,000 feet just north of Prescott, the five-acre Solarwind Ranch is open year round. Ducks, Sheep, Goats and cattle are available for lessons with light, medium and heavy stock available. The Arizona Herding Associate sponsors a popular and successful AHA trial here each spring with Trial Dog, Ranch Dog, and Arena Dog courses.

Karen Clymer has been training dogs for over thirty years and has 15 years experience in herding. She has advanced titles in AHBA, ASCA and AKC and is an AHBA Herding Judge. Although her own breed is Border Collie, her students breeds have included Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, Belgian Sheepdog, Bouvier des Flandres, Collie (Rough), German Shepherd, and Shetland Sheepdog. Many of her students have completed an AHA Junior Herding Dog title on a Rottweiler and an English Cocker Spaniel. All breeds with serious handlers are welcome.

1 - 2.5 acre pasture
