Adopted in June of 2000 from Arizona Border Collie Rescue, Rip served seven years of active service in Navajo County Sheriff's Search and Rescue with tracking & cadaver certifications and was a member for 2 yrs of the NM FEMA team (He passed the urban search certification test one time). He worked as a paid professional K9, employed doing Wildlife Detection for Conservation of Endangered Mohave Desert Tortoises for five months in 2005. He started herding at about eight years old and we estimate he was eleven when he finished his Herding Trial Championship. ~1998 to Sept 2009. Forever in our hearts. Written by Kathleen Corum |
