Alan and I want to make lemonade out of lemons. This was a terrible thing it is true, but the shepherds have encouraged us to let her return to some form of herding by fall. There are even dogs that have competed in ISDS trials with three legs. Of course, as you likely know, AKC would never allow what they call and “unsound” dog to compete. So this award means so much.
